The Force That Drives Us
Catalina H.
What could be that push that surges through our bodies?
A jab that can be embraced, in mind, body and soul,
A strength that dances through our bodies,
when a compelling emotion digs its way to our lives.
Indeed a powerful sentiment.
Of which the words that we become numb to reappear
"I hate, oh I shall hate" may escape our frail hearts and lips,
Fabricating inner demons that can live for decades.
Devouring any sensitivity.
Consuming our minds into thinking wrong is right, the beast lives on.
The soul can crack like an egg,
Thousands of millions of pieces shattering,
All of them lost to the despicable emotion.
Yet with the hidden ecstasy that spirals in ourselves, hope can befall on the monster.
Such an emotion can tremor in our fingertips,
An emotion so pure like the lotus flower.
A warmth that cuddles itself up to our deepest wounds,
A thrill that mounts on our ever aging spirit,
A passion that caresses even the cold hearted.
"Oh my dear, I love you to the ends of the earth!" Are some of the words that escape the
victim's mouth.
An energy thought to be the most powerful force on earth, beings and humans
An excitement said to be needed,
For life to go on.
So why does hate still tremble in ourselves?
Well because it is a potent feeling.
But only you can choose the force needed for the mind, heart and soul.
The force that cares for us,
The force that encourages us,
The force that drives us,
Love.
